In case you have already started to miss my long hair look. (hahas~)

Here's one post of me with Ying Hui taken on 1st March. We went orchard for a walk that day.

Did some shopping and dine in at Sho Tepan ( which is located in ION )

For those who yet to try Sho tepan, it's quite similar as Pepper Lunch but it was in Japanese style.

It's quite addictive in the beginning and even now, I'll still have cravings for that. no kidding :)

For those who have not tried that before, You should just go try it if you happens to pass by ION.

It's located at Basement (I think?) the same level as Fish & Co.

Did lot of catch ups. Bought 1 office dress back home and that's all.

Meet up soon again babe! & Drive me around !!! (hahas~)

I'd finally went back to work after two days of medical leaves today.

and today is also the first day that my colleague get to see me in my new hair cut.

u know what, I almost burst into laughters when my colleague A said this to colleague B :

" Eh? Justine didn't come to work today? "

(while I'm sitting right in front of him when he's saying that... O.O!)

Colleague B who recognized me, pointed to me saying that " She's Justine lor!! "

(I raised up my hand up, Yes? I'm here!! *controlling my laughter*)

Colleague A then said

" OMG, you (me) CUT YOUR HAIR?!

I really can't recognize You lehs!! I thought you were the new employee. "

lollololololols.

I burst into laughter after that.

Got so much differences mehs? lol~

cos' I paid for my hair cut too :) Would like to plainly share with you an awesome hair stylist!

I'd been saying for ages that I wanted to have a brand new look by cutting away my long hair.

But I've got no guts and don't bear to do so only yesterday, I've finally get my long hair 'chopped' off!!!

I've got a fresher look now and I'm so proud of myself. Got to specially thanks Sean for this hair cut.

Sean Ong is the hair stylist hero here who'd transformed me into this fresh look!

He knew which style suits my face and asked if it's okay to cut that way he had in mind.

He had also asked if I've got any preference or suggestions of which hair type I would like to go for.

I only remember myself telling him that 'I like bob hair cuts'. that's all.

have to credit him the most for this hair cut! Okay, let me introduce a little about Sean here.

Sean had graduated from Vidal Sassoon Academy Los Angela Academy early this year and believes in this quote - 'Quality over Time'.

He believes that obtaining a Quality hair cut is always the utmost important thing as compared to the time.

This I somewhat agrees with him. As I think that Hair is 1 of the most important part of human.

Hair can easily change one's look. Thus I trust him that he could give me a quality hair cut, leaving my waist length hair all to him. :)

I've never thought that I could pull off any types of short hair. Every time I've got a short hair cut,

I would only be recognized as 'cute' or sometimes even worst as '小妹妹 (little girl)' -.-!

But THIS hair cut is totally different, I've received good compliments saying that I look

'Mature', '有型格(Style)', 'Got office lady feel', 'Niceee', 'looks fresh and cool!'

You might not know that I'm really very happy and glad to receive these compliments

Being a little frank here, *shy* those compliments seems to have given me 1o1% confidence!

Sincerely thank you all of you who'd given me those melted compliments! :D Thank Youuu!

I've reached the 'Salon' at 4pm and my hair cutting session started!

Above is a picture of me with my waist length hair before my hair cut!

Oh yea! I'm pretty amazed by the 'sofa chair' I'm sitting on in the above picture.

It's actually an adjustable salon chair !! which totally looks like an sofa and it's super comfortable too.

The process started with Sean examining my hair texture and head patterns.

Also, he had asked me more of what types of hair I would like to go for etc etc.

After that, would be hair washing session! (Check out the picture above!)

Look carefully at the above picture! the basin is actually washing machine!

and the 'bed' which I'm lying on is actually transformed from an automatic chair.

What's more special is that it's equipped with a massaging effect too!

my neck and the back of body is vibrating while him helping me to wash my hair. lols.

If the hair washing is longer, I'll probably dose off already~ too enjoy and comfortable to max!

Then... hair cutting starts. Sean divides my hair into quite a number of parts.

he would only cut part by part and a little bunch of hair at a time only

to make sure that all hair are cut in its best accuracy.

Here's the total amount of my hair I've grown for years. Gosh!! So manyyyyyy~

I think it should be recycle and make them into wigs!

It looks like a bob! which I love it too !!! I never thought that my hair could obtain a bob style

cos' my hair is so little and thin (always complaining that I'm about to go bald)

Few weeks ago, I've received a 10ml mini L'Oreal Youth Code Pre-Essence from Nuffnang for review!

I'd been using it for about a week now and was pretty amazed by the results! (I'm not lying!)

The correct step is to apply just a drop to the entire face. But somewhat that isn't possible?

one drop of it is never enough to even cover one quarter of my face (?!)

thus I go against the instructions and applied few more drops instead. lols~

Clear results are shown on my face after using it for about a week now.

Now my face appears to be smoother & much hydrated as compared to the before!

Well, the actual product is actually in a form of bottle and a dropper instead of the mini tubes.

Hellos! Time really flies and 1 year had past just like that.
I could still remember how awesome my 21st party was last year !!

Couldn't believe that I'm one year older again. But that doesn't makes much difference to me.

Cos' people usually can't get my age right when they see me in person. Hahas!

worst thing is there's even some aunty asking me I'm in Primary what (」ﾟﾛﾟ)」

But I'll took that as a compliment! It's good to be forever young~ whahahhas~ ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡

Anyway, I was given a little surprised by Boyfriend, Minchell & her fiancé - Teck Hong.

In the beginning I thought it's just an usual shopping meet up with Minchell on my actual bday.

We went Far East Plaza to get my measurements done for the Bridesmaid dress.

I'm so excited for her wedding!! Gonna be one of her bridesmaid. So glad that she'd chosen me! ღ

After which, we strolled over to Orchard station for dinner at Swensen.

and little did I know that Boyfriend & Teckhong were already inside!

I seriously never expected that. I still told the Swensen's waiter 'table for 2' - lols!

then Minchell quickly corrected me 'Table for 4, our friends are inside'.

This was then I saw a candles lit cake right in front of me with boyfriend saying 'Surprise!' lol~

Didn't burst into tears but still, touched. ღ

Cos' right in the beginning I though that my boyfriend didn't take my birthday seriously.

He even told me that he's not meeting me 1 day before my actual bday.

and inside me I'm like wtf, not meeting me to celebrate at all ?!

but well, that surprise proves me wrong! Hahas. Sho sorry for the fuss created.

one thing that I couldn't agree more is that all girls wish to know that

Their other half cares, love & treasure about her.

Oh yea! boyfriend bought me a bouquet of flower, ice cream cake and a helium balloon too!

I always love helium balloons! Best is they could make me fly after holding bunch of them. (lols!)

I would also like to have a ride on a Huge Hot Air Balloon if there's any chance.

I heard from Boyfriend that SG used to have one, but not anymore. sadded.

Where else have that?! =/

on a side note, Swensen's ice cream cake that boyfriend bought are super nice!

I like it! 3 flavours (chocolate, vanilla & strawberry) in one cake. How awesome is that?!

Shopped for awhile in Forever 21 after the celebration then went separates way home.

Hop into Boyfriend's car then he told me to help him pick something up cos he dropped something.

Inside the car searching for things is not easy, it was so dark! then I saw a pair of C&K shoe

I went 'EH? why got a lady shoe here?' Almost flared up as I thought

that shoe belongs to some other girls I don't know . LOL~

then I just realized it's the shoe which I'd been eyeing for, for quite some time.

(*giggles* I'm way too sensitive~) this was another pleasant surprise! ゞ(≧ε≦● )

Home sweet home after that :D

I love you Boyfriend. Hees, and thank you Minchell and Teck Hong for this little present.

and thanks for celebrating my birthday with me! :D

I'm gonna paint my nails with the colours real soooonnnnnn ~

I started to ℒℴѵℯ this wedges! Gives me height and it's not painful at all!

Hellos! I'm finally back with the rest of CNY updates! Had finally received the pictures~

But one problem is, I've forgotten the whole period, what I did and when I did that etc~ >.<

Okay, let me try to recall them ... ... 初二 or 初三 boyfriend came to my house to 拜年

then we headed over to Fang Quan's house 拜年 + steamboat and gambling of cos! lols.

This year, we seems to gamble a lot! We'd gambled Ban Luck for all the houses we'd visited!

I love the Chinese New Year this year (^-^) It'd been a long time since I gamble so hard for CNY. lols~

初四 or 初五 we went over to Jin Hui's house to 拜年.

I always like visiting people's house. You could clearly see how they designed the interior of it.

then it will always put me to think of how I want my future house to be like. :D

初五 or 初六 the whole clique went over to boyfriend's house to 拜年

we also did went to Wei Hua's & Cs's house too. As usual Wh cooked delicious foods.

We did went quite a lot of houses this year! Mega loved lor!

then 初七 we went over to Gek Long's to 拜年 early in the morning

After that the whole clique came over to my house for lunch, lou hei & dinner ~

Of cos, gamble too. lols.

Last Saturday, poor boyfriend still had to do OT and the poor little me got no choice but to slack at home.

Boyfriend came to fetch only in the evening. We've got a date with the rest of his friends that night! ^^

We had went over to Adna's Boyfriend - Wei hua's house for Nasi Lemak!

And mind you, the whole plate of Nasi Lemak is hand-cook by Wei Hua himself! 'O'

It's freaking delicious I swear, we suggested to him to open a Nasi Lemak shop, hahas!

Before having our Nasi Lemak for dinner, we actually played a few rounds of monopoly deal.

Well, it was my virgin time playing Monopoly deal and I have to admit that it's quite addictive. hahas~

But I'm never a fast learner to card games / board games, *emo* but I've got no idea why seriously. =/

I need few rounds of practice to perfect the rules and regulations.

I just can't absorb the speech explanation of the rules immediately [Am I slow or what? (◞‸◟；)]

For those who yet to know about TeoHeng, it's somewhat like Kbox.

Teoheng is way cheaper & affordable as compared to Kbox ALSO

Teoheng allows people to bring their own foods in! How niceee!

The only disadvantage of TeoHeng is that they doesn't provide any drinks or tidbits.

and they don't have a controller in their room which I find it pretty inconvenience.

also, they are open till 1am only :( they should extend their operating hours seriously~

(maybe I should give a feedback? hahas~)

Other than that, It's a definitely worth visit places for karaoke!

They got 2 outlets so far. you might want to check out their website HERE.

Advance booking is recommended as this place is pretty 'HOT' now! ^^

Greetings! So how was your Valentine's Day celebration yesterday? Are you 'sugar overload' by your loves one? I didn't really celebrate yesterday cos both boyfriend and I were ill. He's still sick now, I hope that he'll have speedy recovery asap. :(

Anyway, Sorry for the long lack of updates. Had been pretty lazy lately - *Yes, I confessed :x* Once I got back home from work, I'll have my dinner, bathed and I'll then 'planted' right in front of the television. Recently, I'm quite into the 7pm show and the 9pm show on Channel eight! Hahas! Right after those tv shows, I'm already dead beat. -.-! Don't even have strength to turn my laptop on. :(

I'm much regular on twitter. You could catch me there if you want. :D (search for 'QueeniteYAWN' in twitter) Well, my CNY entries gonna be so outdated already. Gosh. I'm still waiting to receive CNY pictures from Adna~ :((( But she's out of town right now, good life leh! lols~

Anyway, weeks ago, I've headed out to Bugis with Ying Hui. Had the usual awesome fish soup noodles across bugis junction. And after our fish soup noodle, we settled down at apple strudel for our desserts. I had been craving for Durain strudel for almost a week at that time! She had her usual strawberry strudel.

After finishing our strudels, we strolled our way to Bugis Street. She's hunting for chucky necklace while I'm hunting for a clutch or any awesome clothes I've bumped into along the way. Lols~ Oh ya! Also to get my acrylic nail tips removed and my manicure done. Finally settled down at Milly's (Cos' they quote the cheapest rate among other nail parlor among Bugis!) Couldn't really decide which colour to apply, with the help of Ying Hui, I've ended up with glittery greenish blue colour for my mani. :D Went back home at about 9++ that day :D It's such a sweet catch up. Hellos! I'm very glad and honored to attend Chingay Parade 2012 together with the other bloggers!

Not forgetting to sincerely thanks Nuffnang and Deal.sg for such unforgettable and memorable event!

It was my first experience having to watch Chingay Parade in live and I'm all excited about it! hahas~

I've met up with Jaslyn slightly earlier for dinner at Sakae Sushi. Had the least plates of sushi ever.

Rushing with time, we only managed to munch down merely 5 small plates of sushi. =/

Time checked and we're almost late, thus we strolled super quickly to the meeting venue (Flyer).

Got our tickets from Gabby (Nuffnang committee member) and we marched our way happily in!

Crowds were huge when we have reached the point of entrance. I'm sweating like mad as well ~

Alright, before I stared spamming you with truck loads of colorful pictures with captions.

Origin of Chingay Parade in a Nutshell!

A dazzling extravaganza of colours and cultural diversity, Chingay Parade Singapore is known for its resplendent floats and multi-cultural local and international performances that are an insight to our festive traditions and delight the hearts of many Singaporeans and tourists.

The word Chingay is from the Hokkien dialect, of which the Mandarin equivalent is Zhuang Yi (??), meaning "the art of masquerade". The festival began as a neighbourhood parade with only Chinese elements in 1973. Today, the Chingay Parade has evolved to be the grandest street and floats parade in Asia, showcasing the rich, vibrant multi-culturalism of Singapore and exciting cultures all over the world. To all Singaporeans, the next Chingay Parade is a parade of our people, our dreams and our pride!

This' the 88m long Dragon from Shaanxi China!

This majestic appearance of both the dragon and phoenix (picture was at the bottom) is said to brings out peace and prosperity to people of Singapore as they flies to the sky 40m above ground.

Parade begin with a hundred (?) of people walking in rows with stick lighted with fire in their hands.

With some sweet dancers dancing in the middle ~

Needless to say, it's a performing group from PAYM!

It's the Dragon year, thus there's lots of dragons ranging from straw to LED. And this pair of dragon was the LED dragons I supposed.

Look at how awesome when the lights is turned off ! They glow!!

Next, this was the Straw dragon supported with quite a number of strong mans.

I always love this huge led lit vehicles, they are simply awesome!

Here's God of Fortune, Longevity and Prosperity walking in stilts! They are all from Tian Loong Koong Stilt walking group & Johour Bahru Hong Yang Sports associations!

Here's another type of Dragon appear in the Parade! Look carefully, it's Human Dragon!!

It's formed by performers stacking on top of one and other to make a human dragon chain.This special act requires lots of stamina, skill and flexibility!They are from China Zhanjiang Human Dragon Dance Troupe!

Another dragon showcase in the parade, this' the Water dragon!

Here's another picture of Straw dragon.

Chingay also brings in beautiful cultures featuring , "踏歌" (Ta Ge) Chinese Classic Dance of Han Dynasty.

A brilliant lit float and showcase of Indian culture through a resplendent swan float!

Here's a showcase of international cultures from Taiwan and Indonesia~!

Showing casing International cultures, this group of lovely performers were dressed in navy blue kimonos with striking yellow aprons. These ladies focus on traditional Kagoshima dance that is presented in cheerful and joyful manner to suit the theme of Chingay Parade 2012!They were all Japan university students from Kagoshima's Woman Colleage, Japan!

This was presented by The Lan Yang Dancer from Taiwan!
Their costumes portray different kinds of flowers. (I only managed to take this blury pic) :(such as orchids, peonies, lilies, lotus flowers and birds of paradise.

One of the Indonesian culture highlight - a structure of The Komodo Dragon.which lives in the komodo island of Indonesia also classified as 1of the new 7wonders.The Komodo Dragon is the world's largest living lizard.

Another huge led lit vehicle floating and moving on the water platform~

Is this eels? I can't really tell. Can't really heard what the emcee said too.

They look like little faeries in their colourful tu tu costumes.

Here's a travelling dance featuring a multitude of dance forms ranging from line dance, folk dance, samba dance and spectacular bicycle stunts.

There are Star wars characters too!

1000 performers stream across the waterway surrounding with 3 giant sailboats with thunder and lightning effects depicting the challenges faced by humankind and performing to the Grand Finale song "Love Will Make You See"

This' the 35 metres long phoenix from Shaanxi China too!

Riding through the waterway on real horses! Damn cool!

Very sorry for the hiatus. I'm so tired every time I went back home.

Anyway, I'll skip 初二 & 初三 first. Cos' I'm still waiting to receive pictures from friends.

So 初四 I met up with Irene & went over to Hui Hui's house for a CNY visit.

Hui Hui's boyfriend Tackey came along too. Had some rounds of Dai Dee. hahas!

And I think I've earn quite a bit through that game. Must be Viwawa which had 'trained' me.

It'd been ages since we last gather, I had even forgotten the way to Hui's house. lols. =x

Well, we've all grown up. I can really sense it. :)

Our thinking perspective had also maturely changed. This, I'm really glad of.

Mom said we aren't suppose to wake up late during Chinese New Year

thus she came into our room to wake us up at about 10am? we were all in sleepy mode

and she'll starts to play her favourite Chinese New Year CDs one by one.

Louder than usual cos' it's festive season, she said. lols~

Had an early brunch (breakfast + lunch fyi), get ourselves dolled up

then headed out to Grand ma's house. Which is super far from where we stayed. :(

Get to meet cousins and aunties as usual, ate quite a bit of delicacies too. Hahas!

Is ok to gain some fats, but hopefully it's growing at the right area. lols~

I left Grams' house during evening. Boyfriend's Dad & family came to fetch.

Thanks so much uncle, but I doubt he'll get to see this too. =/

Went boyfriend's house next to 拜年 with his mom.

then headed over to Sean's house for Kfc + pizza hut dinner + some gambles.

Hellos! How's your Chinese New Year so far?!

I'm here to blog about Chinese New Year Eve or 年除夕nian2 chu2 xi1.

I had a scrumptious reunion steamboat dinner together with the whole family.

Nothing could ever beat having dinner together with your whole lovely family, isn't it?

always felt so blissful with family around, as I know they will always be there no matter what.

After dinner, bf came to fetch me down to Sean's mom temple for a help out.

As the temple is having some event to welcome 财神爷 (God of wealth) ~ HUAT AH!

That was only my 3rd or 4th time been there,

and I seriously think that that's the prettiest yet simple temple I've went so far.

Yes, I'm a Buddhist, not a very staunch one & I respect other religions too. :)

The high light of the temple which I personally likes is that the gods are set in 3 levels.

and each level, there's a passage way which you could walk through

another words is that you could pray right in front of each individual god. Awesome!

Last Saturday, I've got to drag myself off from bed as early as 5.30am just to prepare myself.

I've always needed approximately 45minutes to get myself done. Girls~ lols..

Left to The Float @ Marina together with my parents as well as my sister for Bro's passing out parade.

This was my 1st time attending such events. And I can say my mom was super excited -.-~!

She woke up way earlier than all of us were and already done preparing when I woke up ._.!

The scorching hot sun was right above us the moment we have reached.

We were all greeted with welcome goodie bag which consist of 1 water bottle & a package of Oreo biscuit.

Grabbed our seats somewhere in the middle then waited patiently for the parade to commence.

I swear it's so hot that I'm almost dehydrate. kept spamming bottles of water down my almost burning throat.

Parade starts promptly at 8am sharp with soldiers divided into several coy marching in 'macho-ly'.

And I love the song they played while they marched in. lols~ so cute!

Oh yea! I wanna add: there's a soldier fainted at the beginning of the parade!

Must be the blazing sun as well as the tiredness of the whole training. Medics carried him out with a stretcher.

I've managed to capture a picture of it, check out below. Poor soldier, have his pop in this way.

Parade ended with a final roar from the soldiers. Super cool.

then all audience dispersed into the parade ground like as if we've all seen gold. lols.

Unable to identify where's my little brother thus phoned him on the mobile.

what's worst is the line is engaged, no network found. seriously? so many people calling at once?

or is it my mobile subscriber was lousy? Nevertheless, I've managed to reach my bro & found him soon after.

The moment he walked towards us I almost died suffocated by his strong sweat smell.

Get to know from him that he'd not been bathing since the previous night

but to march all the way till morning then continue on with this parade, that's why.

Gross much! I almost thrown up & fainted when I smelt the stink smell from him!

Made our way to Marina Square for our early lunch then cabbed home.

Once reached home, bathed and then sleep.

Woke up during evening time to meet boyfriend. Went town for movie.

We caught Darkest hour this time round. I LIKE IT a lot. :D

it's worth a watch definitely ~ have you caught that movie?

So.. Here's finally my 2011 Christmas entry. lols. I'm always approx. 2 weeks lag behind. =x

Sincerely apologize about that, I will try my best to blog more often!!! :)

Juggling with full time job and blog isn't an easy task, but I'll promise to blog more often. ^^

Anyway, I've met up with boyfriend on Xmas Eve' 2011 only in the late noon

then he drove down to Orchid Country Club. Yeap, that's our Xmas party venue for 2011!

If you're a avid reader of my blog, you'll definitely get to know that

I'll always have Xmas party every year without fail with the same group of lovely people!

Theme for the Party was pretty simple.

"Gorgeous Night" - with simple rules of Tees, slippers, bermudas are not allowed.

Forfeit will be given to those who've choose to broke the simple rules.

Well, amazing enough, not many had broke it but just ONE - Raymond

who refused to see the text reminder sent by Adna. lols~

Oh yea, before the party, I've met up with Fang Quan together with Adna.

To plan for these whole party thingy. Ranges from foods to games.

Kudos to us seriously, all the games went smoothly and have created lots of fun & laughter! lols.

There are 3 games in total. Pretty hard for me to elaborate the games here though.

thus I'll choose to skip that. :) If you're interested, you could always formspring me HERE..

The winner group who won the games gets vouchers from NTUC too!

When the time almost strikes 12 midnight, we toss our cups of alcohol and shouted Merry Xmas!

And we checked out at 5/6 am in the morning. All of us were like partially dead by then. lols~

How was your New Year Count Down?!

Where were you when the fireworks were brightly lit high up in the sky??

Actually Gf Irene is nice enough to give me 4 Siloso Beach tickets for free..

As her younger sis were one of the performer there :) But, I've decided to forgo that instead.

Met up with Minchell pretty early in the day for some shopping first.

while waiting for both our boyfriends to meet us later in the night.

Both the boyfriends had to work til late, lols. Meanwhile, we shopped around Bugis.

Bought hell lotsa clothes. -kill me- then we headed over to Raffles City Shopping Center

to purchase 4 tickets for the Count Down party @ The float. It was sort of a impromptu decision. lols.

Had dinner at Thai Express before we headed over to the float.

Crowds were a total madness by then. Oh yea, The count down was live on Channel 5 by the way!

The excitement were stronger when we were few minutes away from 12mn.

Everybody was so high counting down to the cue together and then the fireworks lit up in the sky!

It's 1st Jan 2012 !!! Fireworks are always so beautiful ~

Bf plant a gentle kiss on my lips too. Wishing me Happy New Year. Felt so loved seriously o(≧▽≦)o

We then headed down to the dance floor. Well, the DJs aren't that good I think.

not high enough to make all of us shake or dance like hell. lols, thus we left shortly after. lols.

I've met up with these girls for a mini Xmas gift exchange last week after work at JP.

It'd been quite long ever since I last met them. I couldn't even remember whens the last meet up we had.

Time flies and all of us had really grown up, no longer such petty / over possessive girls we used to be like.

there's so many things for us to catch up, endless of chats whenever we get to meet up.

Such gathers will always made me reminisce those days we used to had in our secondary school.

There's so many silly things we used to do as one back then.. lols.

Dine in at Swensen for our dinner and then had a little gift exchange.

Roamed around JP for awhile and then home sweet home.

It's really nice to have such gather / catch ups once in awhile seriously.. :)

Hellos! Sorry for the long hiatus as recently, my lappy isn't working fine.

It just couldn't get me connected to the internet. which really pissed me off.

It kept prompting 'page cannot be displayed' even after I'd refreshed a lot of times at one page.

Luckily, , lappy works pretty fine today, thus I'm here to blog! with truck loads of picture in this entry!

Last month, boyfriend and I have had a short 2D1N getaway to Bintan together with another couple!

the pair of lovebird is none other than Minchell & Teck Hong.

Met up pretty early at Tanah Merah Ferry terminal that day to have our breakfast.

Board the Ferry and checked in the Lodge. Yes, we're staying in a lodge instead of hotel.

It's a deal that we bought from Groupon. Tsk. Then again, I'm pretty much regretted.

Rating for lodge was like merely a 1 star only I guess? But the services there was credited. :)

We set off in a mini shutter bus to another place for our lunch and then...

set off to have our 1st activity - Mangrove tour. Was all excited as the tour guide said if we're lucky enough,

we'll probably get to see crocodile!!! But sad enough, we see none but lots and lots of tree bark floating.

We couldn't really spot much of the nature habitat other than a snake up in the tree. So disappointing~

However, the view was pretty awesome! Check out the pictures below :)

Up next we had our 2nd actitvity - Canoeing.

and this was hell scary. Canoeing against the real waves without any life guards close watching you.

We've only got life jackets on and that's it. we're all on our on. Damn scary I swear.

The tide was so high and huge (as it was Monsoon season). I gave up after few tries. :( Pretty wash of $.

Was also a waste that we couldn't do any snorkeling as we were told it's Monsoon season.

thus the weather is really bad for snorkeling. Oh well. hopefully I could do it next time. :D

Had massage at night in the end. It's totally not relaxing, i find it super painful. sucks.

I've already told the lady to do it lightly, guess my body is way too petite to even withstand her light strength?

I ended up having achings all over the very next day. lols~

Had dinner and then back to the lodge to bath and relax.

Had some rounds of majong + tvs before we switched off the lights and went to bed.

we were all tired and sleepy by then. lols~

Weeks ago, I've attended Nuffnang G+ Roof Top Party.

The party was held at Nuffnang's main office which is located at 38 Kinta Road.

Unfamiliar with the place as I only went once =x thus I've met up with the other bloggers

Jaslyn, Emily and Jasmine before we strolled our way to down to the venue.

They're much familiar with the route than I do. Also, it was my 1st time getting to meet Emily & Jasmine!

初次见面请多多关照! :D

When we've reached the roof top, nobody was there, we're the earliest!

We sat down and made ourselves comfortable like big bosses. lols. Slowly, crowds started to walk in~

The roof top is pretty awesome! There's actually a pool ! (check the picture below)

Had some light buffets, chats and then weather turned bad. It started to drizzle.

Thus, we were told to move into the office instead. and all moved.

Nuffnang office doesn't look like an office seriously. It looks more like a home instead!

It's so warm stepping into the office, like as if I'm already home!

How I wish I could get into Nuffnang Team too~ :(

We've settled down to play board games like Pictionary and True Colours.

while the guys played xbox i think. (don't really know what's that called)

board games are quite fun though! Also, I've met some new friends while playing :DD

Fun moments always end so fast, roof top party ended about 9.45pm

and we were given a choice to choose either make up remover or hair serum after the whole party.

It's a gift for us! How sweet! :D I've yet to start using the serum.

will start using the serum soon and will blog about it only if it's nice. Hahas!

Trained back home together with the bloggers after that.

Glad to know that most of them stay in the west area! :DDD

Hopefully there will be more Nuffnang events soon~

I've met Minchell up last week as well for some shopping sessions after our work.

Was helping her to haunt for nice dress for her relative's wedding.

we roamed around at FEP, dinned in at KFC, hahas.. then home sweet home.

I just bought one belt and a safety shorts only that day. wow. lols.

While she bought a super chio dress! Awesome much. vertically dual tone dress~

Once saw, I asked her to try it on! really super nice dress. I saw somewhere selling at $35 that time!

She bought it at a lower price. So glad that she'd bought it! :D

Even her boyfriend said it's nice too oh yea? lols :DDD

It's really nice that I'm hunting for it now as well ~ hahas, hopefully I could find and buy it for CNY.

Hellos! Apologize for not blogging for a week!

But I got to thank all of you who still did check back to this blog, mega ♡ all of you! :D

Anyway, Ying Hui asked me out for a catch up last week.

Cos' she's finally graduated from MDIS! Congratz babe, you're a 'partially a degree holder' now!

Come to think of degree, I wonder when I could have the time and money for degree. sighs.

We met at Marina Square but we walked and kept walking to this place.

(I don't exactly know where we are at then seriously~, it's cityhall xchange or raffles xchange, i think? lols.)

dinned in at this restaurant name 'Grandma' and we had the Nasik Lemak. It's surprisingly super delicious!

After which, we strolled back to Marina Square for some shopping and dessert @ Coffee Club.

Hellooooooooooooos ~ I'm back from the short getaway to Bintan!

I'll blog about the trip soon ~ Meanwhile, here's a little entry of a little catch up I had together with Minchell last week.

Suppose to have Bronte for this catch up as well , but she couldn't make it last minute.

Minchell and I had our little catch up at town. We dinned in at Xin Wang Cafe at Ion Orchard.

Then strolled over to Far East Plaza. Bought quite a few items. Madness~

Should cut down my shopping buys soon.

Going real broke starting from next month (have to start repaying poly fees next month) :(

Really a nice catch up with Minchell even though it's just a short one.

You know, I've realized that I've no longer self-shot that more and often as compared to the past.

and just recently! I've found the reason why. Cos' I'm getting sick of my own image. Seriously, am I weird? lols.

Thus, I've decided to revamp my head, booked an appointment with this neighborhood salon last Sunday.

To Dye and To Cut, To Change my head !

Well, my appointment was super early at 9.30am! Almost couldn't drag myself outta bed.

and who knows! when I've reached, my hair stylist wasn't there yet. -.-~! He's Late!! lolss.

While waiting for him to arrive, I use the time to select the ideal hair colour which i wanted.

I've chose a purple-ish red. Well, I was hoping that the colour could go more to purple-ish like this.

This hair colour was photoshopped the day before my appointment, lols~

But stylist said in order to obtain the purple-ish effects, I have to bleach my hair which I firmly against it.

So yea, ended up with this slight deep purple-ish red colour but the colour is still as nice ! I like !!

and I've back with side fringe. Getting sick of my center parting cos it'd started to make my head looks very flat.

Yeap, and this is how purple-ish red it is. Errs, when it's under sunlight? lol~ <3 !

and boyfriend came over to fetch me after my appointment, had sinful Mcdonald then headed to his house

Which seriously set me on fire. So troublesome to even edit one simple picture. =/

See the picture I've opened it up in photoshop? It's pixelated much yea? Heh!

When I open all horizontal pictures, the picture will eventually

turns out to be that pixelated even before i do anything to it. -.-~!!

Zoom or de-zoom will only make it even worst ! It will became pixelated even more.

This issues seriously troubling me lehs~ sighs.

Will get this fix asap. Hopefully everything go smoothly this time round!

Wedding Lunch

Hellos!

Last Saturday I've attended my cousin's wedding lunch at Furama Hotel!

Well, that was my 1st wedding buffet lunch though. hahas~ Was such a good experience.

Attended together with my Mom and Sis only as Dad has to work and Bro enlisted~

Was waiting for mom to come back from work that morning.

then we rushed down to Furama, hoping that we could make it on time. BUT!

sad enough, we're late and we missed the ROM solemnization part :((

Well, in a midst of rush, I have totally forgotten about my fully charged camera (!!!)

till we were in the cab. T.T that explains the lousy quality of photos taken by my mom's phone.

Hellos! Weeks ago, we've make a trip down to Pula Ubin!

To have a taste of the kumpong style environment as well as to reveal our adventurous spirits, lols~

Woke up pretty early that morning and JH drove us to have our breakfast at the nearby coffee shop.

While waiting for Adna and her boyfriend to arrive, we've already done with our breakfast. lol~

We hopped on to the ferry straight after everyone has arrived.

and about half an hour later (?) , we've finally stepped down on Pula Ubin for your info it's 乌敏岛~ !

We seems to have walked 'a zillion miles' to the bicycle rental shop.

and when we've finally reached, the crew told us that we've got the place wrong

the bicycle rental shop should be at the place somewhere where we've alighted the ferry.

and their replies are horribly rude, their services too.

Seriously, i believe this gonna be the last time we would purchase a coupon in the web.

we went to fish foot spa as well as cycled for 2 - 3 hours.

Been through rain and shine, rocky and smooth tracks. lol~ really awesome.

But surprisingly, my legs didn't aches the following day. lol~ and and and !!

one thing I would like to mention is that the fish spa is super duper scary ~

I was all shocked when i saw the fishes in the enclosed area. they are all so huge!

Well, not this fish above, lols. Above was just a sting ray I managed to capture.

For us to feed him/her some fishing foods~

I bet you'll shocked too if you've seen them.

their sizes aren't those you commonly seen in the shops!

super scary right???? Adna and I don't even dare to put in our legs. lol~

we ended up soaking our legs in the enclosed area where the fishes are of the normal tiny size. lol.

But they were all equally scary, they seems to not having anything to eat for days.

they would bite your leg's dead skin off whenever your legs touches the water.

It kept reminds me of the movie Piranha. Damn gross. lols~

So I refused to soak my whole leg to let them bite for too long. hahas~

Oh, there's Kayaking or Canoeing too!

But we didn't play that as some of them didn't brought extra clothings. :(

In additional, there's a welcome drink for us too !

tasted pretty awesome especially on such a scorching day! hahas.

If not, we'll be bitten by a lot of mozzies, super irritating~

I suggested to boyfriend that we should bring the electronic mozzie racket the next time we visit.

only IF we're going for the 2nd time though. Hehs~

Hellos! I'm finally back for more updates! hahas~

Was pretty busying handling my preloves blogshop over in facebook.

Anyway, I've went all the way to Kallang Leisure Park for Ice Skating with Ying Hui weeks ago.

Before that I did went town for my IPL underarm appointment.

Ice Skate was really fun though despite not having to visit the ring for approximate 6 years!

It used to have a skating ring over at Jurong East Entertainment, but building had already pulled down.

I could still distinctly remember I used to skate a lot with my elder sis and younger bro when we were young.

With the rates $10.95 for unlimited hours.

But now, $16 (Student Price) for 2 hours of skate only. Like seriously?

Minus off the shoe changing plus locker part, you approximately left with 1hour and 45 mins to skate?

Super not worth it though~ :(

After skates, we dined in at KFC and then headed over to town for Rocher tao huey.

then we scrolled over to MDIS as YH had some appointment with her lecturer thus I accompanied her..

She was damn funny, super afraid that her lecturer will scold her about her project.

But, everything was so smooth and peace in the end. Lols!

all the while, she worried for nothing ~ lols!

After that, we went to do some shopping at Forever 21 and H&M.

Foot Loose Movie

Hellos! I'm back with more updates!

Recently, I've caught Foot Loose moving screening together with the rest of the bloggers.

I've also caught In Time movie together with boyfriend.

Well, I personally prefers In Time over Foot Loose.

Don't really know how to appreciate scenes back in the 80s, even though I'm a huge fan of dancing scenes movies!

But, the ambience created by Foot Loose really makes me 'high' , hahas~

I got the urge to stand up in the threatre to dance too when I saw them dancing!

and I still remember there's this girl (probably another blogger?) who sat next to me

kept cheering whenever the main character dances -.-~! She's more hyper than me. or is it more 'hip' than me? lols~

Anyway, before our movies, boyfriend and I dine in at XinWang ~

Jovis 1st Bday

Attended Baby Jovis' 1st Birthday at Aloha Loyang last week!

It was my very first experience attending a baby's 1st party! Hahas.

Was such a lively party as there're a lot of other cute babies who've also attended this little princess party!

Sometimes, attending such party really do brighten up my day!

looks at such adorable babies smile, makes me feel like smiling too ~ :D

Anyway, check out the awesome party theme that Jsz Jie (Jovis' Mom) had prepared.

Kudos tho Jsz Jie seriously.

She's so generous to do such a grand party for her little princess.

I doubt my mom would be so generous to do that for me if it was my 1st birthday. haas!

Trading Xperience

" Who can ever resist driving luxury cars, living in a humongous flat and having endless flow of money? "

I've always wondered how the rich can be richer, moving into bigger and bigger flats, driving bigger cars.

Most commonly answers I heard of are THEY INVEST. Some on properties, some play Forex.

So, out of huge curiosity, I signed myself up and brought Minchell along for this Forex event organised by

Nuffnang tying up with Gk Goh Financial Services a month ago at Shenton House!

Hoping that I could get some trading tips after the whole event and fulfill my dream of becoming rich one fine day. Hahahas!

And indeed! I've learnt and had gained a lot of experience after getting a chance to trade live using 'fake money'

which had already been credited to our trading account.

If you ever thought that Forex is as Easy as ABC, just either Sell or Buy then you should really be Thinking Twice!

I've almost have a heart attack every time I saw the statistic turns red and drops.

In the beginning of the month, I'm like a greedy kid, I hit the buy button frequently

and managed to earn a total of 9ks in short span of time but now, my luck was not with me and I've lost a total of 3ks. :(

I guess I'm ranking some where at the bottom among all the other blogger traders now :(

But, needless to say, it's ultra thrilling and I love it! I've also gained a lot of experience while playing.

Here's the TIPS I realized while playing :

BUY when the bar drops drastically (at its lowest point) and SELL when the bar rise tremendously!

or we could

SELL when the bar is long and high and BUY when the bar is shorten.

Anyway, Here's a print screen of how our trading zone looks like.

It's separated into 3 columns,

where the 1st column are the instrument panel showing the different currencies

Here's a clearer view of them. and their arrows will always change to tell you it's either increase or decreasing.

The middle column shows a statistic bars charts of how well / bad the stocks are.

and these bar will always raise and drop randomly ! Check the video out to have a clearer understanding again!

The very right column was the news column telling you about the latest news around the world.so you actually have to base on these news to make a guess to the stocks, guessing it will either raise or drops. Well, to be frank, I didn't read any of those =X I just base on my senses to trade.and people says stocks will always drop when it's raining. I somehow started to believe that~

Flyer Distributors

Flyer distributors are commonly seen on streets especially in those crowded areas like

Orchard tunnels and places near the train station.

BUT, will you take their flyer every time you walk past them?

Every morning while I'm on my way to work, I'll always get to see this elderly ah pek

standing right outside the train station to distribute flyers very patiently.

and I've observed that most of the Singaporeans won't take it.

will either ignored and walked away or some who's polite will reject with a 'no thank you'

I used to reject every single flyer which they'd distributed to me.

and sometimes was quite pissed when they pushed the flyer right into me, forcing me to take it.

But now, influenced by one of a friend, I will choose to take it whenever I can.

Especially for those elderly distributors.

I just hope you will too. :)
